An introduction to Classical mythology and its representation through the Prado Museum’s collection, with works by artists such as Rubens, Ribera and Zurbarán.
The exhibition “Art and Myth. The Gods in the Prado” juxtaposes different depictions of gods and scenes from mythology in paintings, sculptures and objects ranging from the 1st century BCE to the late 18th century.
